JOB SUMMARY
The VP, Creative Operations is responsible for overseeing the operational strategy, processes, and execution within a creative organization. This role will act as a bridge between creative teams, project management, and business objectives, ensuring cross-functional and resource optimization, seamless workflows, and the delivery of high-quality creative timely work and within budget. This role fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, efficiency, and continuous learning across the Marketing and Marketing & Creative Strategy teams to ensure the highest quality and efficiency for creative deliverables.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize creative workflows and processes.
Ensure creative output supports overall marketing and business objectives while maintaining creative integrity.
Oversee resource planning, budgets, timelines and project scope to align with organizational goals.
Champion the adoption of tools, technologies, and best practices to enhance team performance and ensure teams are equipped to meet project demands.
Assist in establishing KPIs and performance metrics, where possible, to measure the success of operational processes, and measure and report on KPIs to evaluate operational effectiveness and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with key internal and external business and technical stakeholders to provide guidance and insights on creative best practices that align with business objectives.
Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and scalability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Expert understanding of creative processes, project lifecycles and production timelines.
Expert knowledge of tools and platforms for project management, resource planning and creative collaboration
Expert in creative and strategic thinking
Proficient in building strong partnerships across the organization, leading and managing groups through change and growth, and developing and managing a diverse workforce.
Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels and to prepare and present presentations to senior executive audiences
Ability to lead large change, complex projects and initiatives, foster teamwork, and build a strong culture of collaboration
Ability to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise
Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Design Management, Strategic Communications or related fields
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and mobile products and services is a plus.
Creative Operations or related
Preferred Education
Master’s Degree in Marketing, Design Management, Strategic Communications or related field.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Office environment, with 4 days in-office and 1 day remote
Possible 10% travel
