JOB SUMMARY
The Lead HR Functional Consultant is responsible for providing expertise in Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud modules, including but not limited to Core HR, Compensation, HR Helpdesk, and Talent Management. This position collaborates closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, configure Oracle HCM to meet those needs, and provide ongoing support and optimization. As a subject matter expert, you will also contribute to project planning, solution design, and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle HCM implementations, a deep understanding of HCM processes, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Serves as module lead for Oracle HCM Cloud, including Core HR and Compensation modules.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into solutions within Oracle HCM Cloud.
Lead system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects related to HR technology initiatives.
Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues related to Oracle HCM Cloud.
Develop and maintain fast formulas to support the compensation module. Ensure business process flows, configuration guides, and training materials are kept current.
Analyze data and build reports to support HR and Compensation modules.
Partner with IT and other stakeholders to integrate Oracle HCM Cloud with other systems and applications.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new features within Oracle HCM Cloud, recommending opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud modules
Ability to adhere to established processing timeframes and make decisions independently
Ability to work on multiple projects with shifting priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to anticipate problems and respond accordingly
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issues
Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage stakeholders effectively
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field or a combination of education and experience
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience working in a HR technology or analytical role – 8+ years
Experience working with Oracle HCM Cloud, with a focus on configuration, administration, and support - 3 years
Experience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementation

Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s)
Proficiency in Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with experience in Core HR and Compensation
Fast Formula’s specific to HR and Compensation
OTBI and BIP report writing experience
VB Studio Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
Experience with HCM implementations and system integrations
